The hammer is first-rate, as is the shield. In fact the only thing that I don't like that much is the bottom-right sword. But it's still ok.

The axe is best by far, the way the dragons wings form the blades really is great.

I just want more skins for wands. There are already 50 bazillion axe, sword and bow skins.
There are 2 skins for necro wands. Not fair.

Could it be that the sword by Michelle Chang is a dagger for assassin? Just a guess, which would explain why they had 2 swords.

could be that they opted for that but it's still kinda lame since there was no Dagger category for the contest...

I wish there were more different design for staffs and wands. Also more necro items wouldn't be bad since majority of GW community has a necro.

I hope there are more items just like these, having very nice looking weapons in a game makes it more attractive.
PS: When are they going to show some armor for Warriors, Rangers, Monks, Mesmers,.......etc.

it seems like everyone apart from the hammer, staff, offhand and sheild designers (as well as Anet) has forgotten which class weilds which weapon (secondarys excluded) where would a ranger want a necro looking bow, the sword is just plain gross and would be more suited to a necro and the axe.....looks like it'll fall apart if it hit anything. its a shame none of the winners really tried anything apart from the normal conventional styles already seen. if i had to choose a fav though it'd have to be the hammer (even though i hate hammers) as it looks as much a warrior weapon as can be. ( i do like the bow but it really isnt a ranger looking weapon at all, its got necro written all over it)

I have to disagree with you, the axe is totally balanced because as u can see its edges are connected to eachother. How is that bow a necro bow?......its totally for a ranger. These items are not ALL for specific classes, maybe all the staffs are going to be used by the casters.
PS: that bow is not going to be for N/R or N only, im sure its for Rangers.

Szip you miss the point entirely or just didnt grasp it, the bow is in all intents and purposes a bat, that is more suited to a necros style than a rangers, i didnt actually say it was going to be used by a necro, same really for the sword, its a bone, its more suited to the necro than the warriors style. maybe if the warrior had some bone armour it might work but it suits no styles that the warrior currently possesses. unless this is an indication of new a armour style for the ranger and warrior?
and bigtru, am i not allowed an opinion because i didnt enter? why are you taking it so personally? thanks for the reply though even if its a little bit petty and troll-like.
i didnt enter because having a designed weapon just put in a game isnt enough of a prize for me to enter, after all this is what anet staff are getting paid to do.

^ I know they could have had a $10,000 reward at LEAST, common man I'm tried of hearing this argument...It was a priviledge, even a life time opportunity to contribute to artistically beautiful game.
